This is the ORIGINAL painting and is NOT a print. It is sprayed with a protective finishing varnish to preserve the quality and sustain the longevity of the work. It is painted with high quality acrylics, on 4"x6" canvas sheet and the details and colors are much richer in person then on this web image). This is an original work of art signed and dated by me the artist.. Also, the copyright text is not on the actual painting, and is just in place for the protection of my art. The back side of the painting is handwritten with the proof of authenticity information.

This painting is called "The Doorway" #1. It is the first painting in a series of paintings that I am doing entitled 50 paintings in 50 days which started on Monday, November 2, 2009. The premise of the series is that I am doing a 50 painting series in the stretch of a 50 day time period. These paintings are posted online everyday during the 5 day work week. I will have Saturday and Sunday off from working on this particular series, as well as Christmas and Thanksgiving. Each painting will be done on a piece of 4x6 canvas sheet and painted in acrylics. Each painting will be posted for sale at $50 a piece. Making the project 50 paintings/50 days/$50. The series is entitled "Hearts and Skulls". Each painting will be posted here everyday for viewing.
